Royal Schiphol Group at ease in the cloud
The Royal Schiphol Group operates airports in the Netherlands and abroad, including Schiphol. The Group aims to make Schiphol Airport Europe's ‘preferred airport’, i.e. the European airport of choice for passengers, airlines and logistics service providers. It has over 2,000 employees. Net sales in 2016 amounted to 1,435 million euros, yielding a net income of 306 million euros. Its revenue derives primarily from take-off and landing fees, passenger charges, concession fees from retail and catering companies, property rents and leaseholds, real estate development, parking services and international activities.
What we do for the Royal Schiphol Group
Profource has worked closely with the Schiphol Group since 2007, and we are their preferred and main source of support for financial activities concerning the Oracle E-Business Suite. This means we provide financial staff, ERP process specialists, project managers and controllers. Profource has implemented the outsourced part the Schiphol’s accounts payable administration since 1 November 2010. This came about following a joint analysis of the cost-saving opportunities that existed within the process. Not only does outsourcing these activities to Profource allow Schiphol to minimise costs, it also allows the Group to turn its attention to other aspects of its procure-to-pay process. In addition, Profource ensures the continuity of these processes, relieving the Schiphol Group of the burden and stress of doing so itself.
