Oracle Cloud Release 25A SCM
Redwood: Smart Nudges for operational efficiency
With the introduction of Nudges, organizations can now receive timely notifications about inventory shortages or out-of-stock situations. These alerts can be tailored by organization or product category and are sent to selected users’ email addresses and mobile numbers. This ensures businesses can respond quickly and maintain customer satisfaction.
Enhanced functionality on the Redwood Item Quantities page
The Item Quantities page, first introduced in update 24D, has been expanded to support inventory transactions. Users can now easily perform subinventory transfers, inter-organizational transfers, and project transfers directly from this page. For certain transaction types, such as project transfers, this page is even the sole option available within the revamped Redwood user interface.
Streamlined receiving with Redwood Pages
The final step in the receiving process—putting away goods—has been significantly improved with the introduction of Redwood Pages. These updated pages offer flexible search options and the ability to process multiple lines simultaneously, making the process faster and more user-friendly.

Improved Feature for Receivables Transaction Review and Control
The approval functionality for receivables transactions, introduced in release 24D, has been further enhanced. Users can now approve imported invoices, review all pending approvals via a dedicated tile, and retract or clear approvals when needed. This makes the period close process much more streamlined.
Intelligent Document Recognition: Key lessons learned
Profource collaborated with Oracle Support to further optimize Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR). Key takeaways include:
- The order in which attributes, such as tax numbers, are recognized can be adjusted for better accuracy.
- Misidentified elements can be “unlearned” for specific suppliers.
- After a standard P2T migration, request an IDR Production-to-Test (P2T) to maintain consistent learning models between test and production environments.
Oracle Cloud Release 25A HCM
AI-powered Task Types for Guided Journeys
This new AI-powered functionality allows employees to ask AI-driven questions, such as queries about additional compensation policies.
Journey Analytics with Response Summaries
The new Response Summary UI enables managers to analyze the progress of Guided Journeys through visual tools like pie charts and bar graphs. These insights help optimize employee experiences.
Redwood experience for recruitment pages
Recruitment pages, such as the candidate details page, have been updated with a fresh look using the modern Redwood UI. This redesign provides an intuitive and user-friendly experience, making the hiring process smoother.
